ambitious beginnings
in the spring
of 2003, this
year the festival
features two days of stories, music and fun
on the Milt
Dunnell Field
on The Flats
by the Thames River.
Confirmed storytellers and performers at this
stage include La'Ron Williams, Jim May, Dan
Yashinsky, Marta Singh, Jan Andrews, Jennifer
Cayley, and Mike Ford
Professional storytellers will be sharing their talents and love for the art on two levels: telling and teaching. The telling goes on constantly, as rapt clusters of children will attest, while the teaching takes place in workshops that require preregistration. The workshops are for people brand- new to the storytelling art who want to learn, and for storytellers who want to increase their skills.
